The Salman Khan’s Race 3 had made a collection of Rs 106.47 crore within three days of the release making Race 3 the second highest weekend opener of 2018 at the box office.

Taking to Instagram, Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst wrote today: “#Zero has clearly underperformed… Remained on similar levels over the weekend… No turnaround / big jump in biz… #Christmas holiday [tomorrow] should boost biz… Real test on Wed and Thu… Fri 20.14 cr, Sat 18.22 cr, Sun 20.71 cr. Total: ₹ 59.07 cr. India biz.”

It is to be noted that Zero made a collection of Rs 20.14 on the day of its release, and earned Rs 18.22 crore on the Second day. Aanand L Rai directorial Zero has garnered mixed reviews from the audience as well as critics.

As Christmas is a few hours away, the film’s collections might witness a rise. However, Zero will face stiff competition from Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba,  set to releases on December 28.

The film critic Shubhra Gupta, in her review, wrote, “In the beginning, you relate because you see Bauua the ‘bauna’ having a tough time finding his groove, always tussling with mum (Chaddha) and dad (Dhulia). You relate too when Bauua show flashes of rage at his situation, and lashes out at people. But all too soon, the film abandons its minimal air of rootedness, and flees towards preposterousness.”
