THIS dish takes Yami Gautam back to her childhood

Actress Yami Gautam is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood. She believes that proper diet and workout are important for a healthy and fit body. She is currently in Kanpur shooting for her upcoming movie Bala and the actress keeps on posting pictures and videos from Kanpur that also includes videos of her workout regimes. Yesterday, taking to her Instagram story, the Kaabil actress shared a picture of dal khichdi and turned nostalgic while remembering about her childhood days.

Captioning the pic, she wrote, “Dal khichadi takes me back to childhood…a meal which never made me feel happy…but now importance of something’s change over as you grow… P.S .. it’s now a part of my comfort n healthy food.”

Yami is known to be a foodie and more often we see her sharing pictures of herself indulging in yummy dishes. Though she maintains a healthy diet, sometimes she gets into sinful indulgences like chocolates, waffles, ice-creams, etc.

The actress is currently on the purple patch of her career as her performance in Uri: The Surgical Strike had earned her a lot of appreciations. Her next is Dinesh Vijan’s Bala where she will be seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She is playing the role of a supermodel.

On being part of the movie, she earlier said, “Bala was a script that I instantly connected with. The team working on the film is immensely talented.”
