WWE News: Triple H Apologizes To Paige Over Crude Comment
Triple H made an off-color joke about Paige having kids she might might not know about
WWE VP Triple H has apologized for the off-color comments he made about former female WWE wrestler Paige. Triple H made a lewd remark about Paige, saying that she probably has a few children she doesn’t know about. This comment caused a backlash and Triple H has since issued an apology to Paige over the remark.
“I’ve reached out to @RealPaigeWWE to apologize. I made a terrible joke and I’m sorry if it offended her or anyone else,” Triple H tweeted.

It all started when Triple H was asked during a media interaction whether he thinks Paige or Edge will ever return to the WWE ring. Triple H offended many sensibilities when he replied, “I’m a fan just like everyone else. I would love to see (Edge or Paige) step into the ring and compete. More importantly than that, though, I would like to see them live long, healthy lives. You know, Edge has kids. Paige, maybe, she probably has some she doesn’t know of.”
This comment caused an uproar and the WWE boss faced severe backlash. Fellow wrestler Nikki and Brie Bella came out in support of Paige.
We will never see the true change in equality if we just see them as storylines. Change in a company starts from the top. Our leaders help set the example. For us women we need all the help we can get. Help with respect from our co workers and fans. We are all one. One love. ❤️N

However, Paige’s boyfriend Ronnie Radke blasted off on Twitter. In a since-deleted Tweet, the rocker went on rampage tweeting, “It’s f*ck @TripleH all 2020.” In another deleted tweet Radke said WWE should be embarrassed to have Triple H running WWE.
“Hey @WWE you should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourselves for letting someone like @TripleH run your company and publicly disrespect one of your divas @RealPaigeWWE biased or not I hate watching her cry over YOU. hasn’t she been through enough?”
Amidst all the negativity, Paige took the time out to acknowledge the number of positive comments being sent her way. Paige tweeted:
“Sometimes you can get so wrapped up in social media and the negativity you forget how loved you are by the bigger majority. The negative ones even though they jump out the most are just a tiny percent. Everyone has to remember that. I have to remember that. Feeling positive”
