WWE’s upcoming event Money In The Bank has been officially cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The show was scheduled to take place in Maryland, USA, on May 10, 2020. Reportedly, the company will still go forward with the event, but it will no longer be held in the same place i.e in Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena in Maryland. Reports suggest that the upcoming show will in the Performance Center without the audience.
The Baltimore arena announced the official cancellation of the event on Twitter and also promised that they will refund for the tickets. They tweeted, “A very special message to our devoted WWE FANS from the WWE. The WWE Money In The Bank originally scheduled for Sunday, May 10 in Baltimore has been canceled. Refunds are available at all points of purchase.”

This announcement makes clear that the event will not take place as originally planned. Till now, WWE hasn’t said anything about the cancellation.
Talking about WrestleMania, the WWE said in an official statement, “In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”
