As Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s stupendous success became evident, several world leaders took to microblogging site Twitter and Congratulated PM Modi for his second term. These international political leaders include Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani, Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma, Japanese PM Shinzō Abe, China’s Prime Minister Xi Jinping, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who wished PM Modi for this spectacular win.
Pakistan Prime Minister took to Twitter and congratulate PM Modi on his second record win. He wrote on the microblogging site: “I congratulate Prime Minister Modi on the electoral victory of BJP and allies. Look forward to working with him for peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia.”
