Despite counting of votes for the five state assembly elections 2018 is underway and Congress has not officially declared its Chief Ministerial candidate for Rajasthan, but Wikipedia went ahead and declared Sachin Pilot as the 14th Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
According to Election Commission, Congress leader Sachin Pilot has won from his constituency Tonk in Rajasthan. As per the trends, Pilot was leading by over 36,000 votes against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yunus Khan.

Talking to media, Sachin Pilot said, “Non-BJP independent MLAs, who share the same ideology as Congress, I’m in touch with all of them, especially those who are against the BJP, I’m in touch with all of them, we will get them on board, the mandate is against the BJP. Tomorrow there will be an MLAs meeting.”
“We are confident of forming the government with full majority in Rajasthan. Its a big verdict against the BJP ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” Pilot added.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated the political parties that are winning across the five states in the state Assembly elections 2018. However, he said that the Mahagathbandhan has failed “terribly” in Telangana.
However, Wikipedia soon removed the designation from Sachin Pilot’s page soon after The Live Mirror tweeted it.
