Week after Mandsaur incident, two minors gangraped in Uttar Pradesh

Barely 10 days has passed when a minor was gangraped in Mandsaur of Madhya Pradesh, another incident of gangrape took place in Uttar Pradesh’ Azamgarh district, this time again the victim was a minor. The incident took place in Bilariagunj police station area, where a 14-year-old girl was abducted and then gangraped on Monday. Police have registered a complaint and searching for the absconding accused.

According to th complaint filed by the mother of the victim, the girl was abducted while the girl was alone in the house. When her mother arrived, the girl was quiet and was answering to her. She then went to the grocery shop to buy shampoo sachets and found the ‘Odhana’ (piece of cloth) of her daughter. After returning to the house, she queried how her ‘odhna’ reached there, the minor remained quit, but revealed that she was gangraped by two after some beating, says Narendra Pratap Singh, rural SP of Azamgarh.

According to then girl, the two accused, abducted her in her mother’s absence and raped her in the shop. They performed this heinous crime after closing the shutter and dropped her home back. The mother took the girl to the police station and the case was registered under section 376 (rape) and POCSO act by the police.

The police have launched a manhunt to trace the absconding accused. The girl has been sent for medial examination to the nearby government hospital. Since the matter relates with two different communities, not having a good relation, extra police force has been deputed in the area.

Seven-year-old girl raped in Varanasi:

In an another incident a seven-year-old girl was raped in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constitutional area in Varanasi. The incident took place in Sarsoli village of Varanasi’s cant area. Police have registered the case and are looking for the accused.

According to the police, the minor was abducted while she was sleeping in her house and was raped in a isolated place. The matter came to light when the family members heard the voice of the minor, who saw the accused running away in night. The girl has been sent for medical examination, based on which action will be taken, informed police.
