Priyanka Chopra — who is currently touring along with her hubby Nick Jonas for ‘Happiness Begins Tour’ — has bagged yet another project in West. Yes, Priyanka Chopra has been roped in for Netflix original titled ‘We Can Be Heroes’, which is said to be a kid Superhero film.
The Baywatch actress has several movies lined up including The Sky Is Pink, which is all set to premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival. Priyanka Chopra’s Netflix film We Can Be Heroes will be directed and produced by renowned filmmakers Robert Rodriquez, who has earlier given several hit movies such as Spy Kids, SinCity and Alita: Battle Angel to his credit.
The story of We Can Be Heroes revolves around a group of alien invaders kidnap Earth’s superheroes, leaving their children to team up to save their parents and the world. As soon as the news broke Yesterday, Netflix unleashed the entire case of We Can Be Heroes which has a name of Christian Slater, YaYa Gosselin, Akira Akbar, Andrew Diaz, Andy Walken, Boyd Holbrook, Hala Finley, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Lotus Blossom, Lyon Daniels, Nathan Blair, Sung Kang, Vivien Lyra Blair, Adriana Barraza, Christopher McDonald and Pedro Pascal.
Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming Bollywood film The Sky Is Pink depicts the life of a motivational speaker named Aisha Chaudhary, who was born with an immune deficiency disorder. Directed by Shonali Bose features Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf alongside PeeCee. It is slated to the hit the big screens on October 11, 2019.
Notably, under her Purple Pebble Pictures banner, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has produced several acclaimed films including Paani, Ventilator, Pahuna: The Little Visitors and Firebrand.
