Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan is currently undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. The injured India limited-overs opener seems to be having a great time at the NCA. He has for company pacer Khaleel Ahmed and spinner Kuldeep Yadav who are also working on their fitness at the NCA.
Dhawan on Saturday shared a glimpse of his fun time with Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav. He captioned the video as, “The Desi boysssss! Working out and dancing is a beautiful feeling. Makes it so much more fun! Have a good weekend you all!.”
Shikhar Dhawan was forced off the field after hurting his left shoulder during the third and final ODI match between India and Australia on January 19. He had tried to save runs and dove to save Aaron Finch shot but ended up landing uncomfortably on his left shoulder in the fifth over. Meanwhile, Ahmed has fractured his wrist during India A’s tour of New Zealand.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly had sent the names of skipper Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Dhawan and Kuldeep to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The latter is all set to host two T20Is between Asia XI and World XI. This is to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of their founding father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on March 18 and 21.
