Watch: Ishant Sharma’s fiery delivery rattles Aaron Finch’s stumps
Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma handed India a flying start with the ball by dismissing opener Aaron Finch in the first session of the second day of the first session at the Adelaide Oval.

The Indian innings ended the first ball of the day when Shami was dismissed but Ishant returned the favour by castling Finch on the third ball of the Australian innings. The ball came back a bit and caught the inside edge and completely shattered the stumps behind to hand India a good start.

Josh Hazlewood had earlier had Shami caught behind the very first ball of the day to end the Indian innings on 250.
India were in a precarious position at 86/5 after lunch but Cheteshwar Pujara stood tall and scored a hundred, his 16th in Test cricket. He also completed 5,000 runs in Test innings.
