Sledging has already been a part of cricket for a very long time and the on-field rivalry between India and Australia has had a lot of such heated exchanges in the past. From the infamous ‘Monkeygate’ incident between Harbhajan Singh and Andrew Symonds to Virat Kohli and Mitchell Johnson’s scuffle during the 2014 series Down Under, both these countries have had some memorable on-field heated exchanges.

1) Chetan Chauhan being asked by Sunil Gavaskar to walk off the field after being abused by Denis Lillee.
2) Michael Slater walking up to Rahul Dravid after the former had his catch disallowed after the ball appeared to bounce right in front of his fingers.
