After an action-packed trailer and romantic song Ghungroo, the makers of WAR featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff have dropped a dance number titled Jai Jai Shivshankar. The song Jai Jai Shivshankar is shot in the backdrop of Holi and it seems we have got yet another song for Holi.
The song has been a topic of discussion ever since its poster was released featuring Hrithik and Tiger shaking their legs together. Earlier it was reported that Jai Jai Shivshankar is a remake of Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz’s icon number of the same name from their 1974 film Aap Ki Kasam.
The new version of Jai Jai Shivkar is crooned by Benny Dayal and choreographed by Bosco-Caesar while the music composed by duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravijani.

Speaking about bringing two action heroes together, director Siddharth Anand told news agency IANS, “Since the inception of the film, people were speculating that there would be a huge dance anthem featuring two of the best dancers of our country, Hrithik and Tiger. While people were wowed that two of the biggest action heroes of India were combining for the first time, they were equally excited to see them dance together in War,” Anand said.
Talking about the song, Anand said that they had to get the track right, get the track that actually justifies them dancing on it together.
“Hrithik and Tiger have had very, very good songs and big hit songs to their credit. Now, we are bringing them together for the first time and so we have all the more responsibility to deliver a song that should become a blockbuster instantly. I told Vishal and Shekhar that this is not just a song, this is a responsibility,” Anand added.
Besides Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, the much-awaited film also features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead. The Yash Raj Films’ production is scheduled to hit the theatres on 2nd October (Gandhi Jayanti).
