Nach baliye season 8 winners Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya were supposed to host the pre-launch episode of this season’s dance reality shows. But, unfortunately, Vivek had to back off from this opportunity due to his health issues, which emerged after his return to Mumbai from his Macau vacation. Because of the fact that he has been hospitalized, there is no Vivek could turn up on the sets of Nach baliye Season 9.
“Vivek and Divyanka had just returned from Macau, and from the very next day, Vivek has been down with a fever. The fever wasn’t going down and with severe stomach pain, Vivek was rushed to the hospital yesterday and he has been diagnosed with an intestinal infection and liver abyss,” a source was quoted as saying to PinkVilla.
After the rumours, the sources got in touch with the Ye Hain Mohobbatein actress, Divyanaka Tripathi, who confirmed the news and added, “Yes Vivek has been extremely unwell. I have been shuffling between the shoot and hospital and luckily my family is also going to be in town soon to help us out. He is still recuperating and has been asked to stay on bed rest for a few days even post getting discharged.”
Divyanka is still unsure whether she’d be able to host the show, further she revealed that the couple had shot their duo performance before leaving for their Macau trip “We’ve shot for our performance piece but anchoring would not be possible for Vivek. I’m not sure either about my involvement in it. Busy with him for now,” said Divyanka.
The premiere episode of the dance reality show- Nach baliye has already been shot. Celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Ahmed Khan and probably director Ali Abbas Zafar will be seen as the three judges of the show.
Salman Khan, who is producing Nach Baliye this year, may be seen in a few episodes as well.
