Last week, Virat Kohli had tweeted a video of Anushka Sharma almost giving a dressing down to a guy sitting in a chauffeur driven luxury car for throwing plastic out of the car’s window. “Why are you throwing garbage on the road? Why are you throwing plastic on the road? Please be careful. Don’t throw plastic like that on the streets. Use a dustbin,” Anushka was seen saying in the video.
The post went viral. The issue great rapidly after Singh uploaded a post online in which he apologized for ‘carelessly littering a sq mm of plastic while driving’, but added that the actress could use some ‘etiquette and politeness’ in her speech.
Now, Anushka Sharma and her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli have been served a ‘legal notice’ by the man, Arhhan Singh, who was scolded by the actress for ‘littering in public’.

Arhhan too declined to make any comments right now. His lawyer Veena Advani said, “There is so much to say for our client Arhhan Singh, who has been publicly condemned … We have sent a notice on his behalf to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. The ball is now tossed over to them…let us wait for the true spirit of sportsmanship to emerge.” She too declined to say what exactly the notice said.
Social media was divided. While some applauded the actress for giving a ‘piece of mind to these idiots’, others said the couple’s main motive was to just put the video out on social media. Minister of state for home affairs Kiren Rijiju too had slammed critics of the couple.
