On Tuesday, the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) came to an abrupt halt, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) deciding to suspend the season midway through the league stage after multiple IPL players tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Now, Royal Challengers Banglore’s captain Virat Kohli and India skipper was snapped at Kalina airport as he returned home on Wednesday. He was snapped donning an all-black outfit and was seen wearing a face mask and hand gloves as a precaution from the Coronavirus.

The announcement of IPL’s suspension came after a Sun Risers Hyderabad two players — Wriddhiman Saha of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals had contracted COVID-19. Earlier, On 3 May, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier of KKR had also tested positive for Covid-19, which led to the match between RCB and KKR postponed.
Recently, Virat’s wife and Bollywood actress who celebrated her birthday on Saturday and turned 33 shared a video on Instagram to thank everyone for the birthday wishes and said that she and her husband are coming together to do their bit in India’s fight against the ongoing COVID-19.
