Virat Kohli is back to his Mumbai home after his ODI series win against England in Pune. Currently, the Indian captain, who also leads the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise is gearing up for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in Chennai.
The cricketer shared a video of himself running on a treadmill as he kickstarts the preparations for IPL. Sharing the video on his social media handle, he captioned it as: “No rest days. From here on its all about speed #IPL”

VK also shared a selfie on his Instagram story, in which he was seen all smiles as he returned to his Mumbai abode and was seen sitting in his balcony area. Sharing the image, he wrote, “Nothing like home.”

Virat will be soon joining RCB’s camp on April 1 in Chennai, later, he will undergo quarantine for seven days as per BCCI’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the IPL amid the Coronavirus outbreak. Since the cricketer has left the Pune bubble created for the ODI series against England, upon his arrival in Chennai, he will have to undergo quarantine for seven days, reported news agency ANI.
RCB is scheduled to play their first three matches in Chennai and is set to play the IPL 2021 opener against Mumbai Indians on April 9.
