Virat Kohli Gets First Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccination
Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma get first dose of coronavirus vaccination
Indian star cricketer and national team captain Virat Kohli received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination on Monday. Kohli took to Instagram to share the news. Virat shared a picture on his Insta story and also urged others to get vaccinated “as soon as you can”.

Not only Kohli even senior pacer Ishant Sharma and his wife Pratima too got vaccinated against coronavirus. They also uploaded their selfie in front of a vaccination centre.
“Thankful for this and grateful for all the essential workers. Happy to see the smooth running of the facility & management. Let”s all get vaccinated at the earliest,” Ishant wrote on his twitter handle.

Before Kohli, India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, pacer Umesh Yadav and Senior opener Shikhar Dhawan have already got their first dose of vaccination.
India leg-spinner Piyush Chawla lost his father Pramod Kumar Chawla to COVID-19. He was around 60 years old. Piyush shared an emotional message on Instagram.

India is at present reeling under the second wave of the deadly coronavirus. The country has been recording 400,000 cases on a daily basis with at least 4000 deaths on an average.
