Vinod Kambli’s wife Andrea accused of punching singer Ankit Tiwari’s father
Andrea Kambli punched a man as he brushed his hands against her. The 59 year old man turned out to be Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari’s father, Rajendra Tiwari. The incident took place in Inorbit mall when Kambli and his family were enjoying at the game zone at around three in the afternoon.
Kambli accused the man and his companions of trying to attack his wife. He said, “We were at the Game Zone in the mall around 3 pm when my wife caught hold of an old man’s hand. He had deliberately brushed his hand against her and when she caught him in the act, he pushed her away. Minutes later when we were at the food court, two men tried to attack my wife. When I told them to back off, they told me, ‘You don’t know who we are’.”

The other version of the story comes from Tiwari’s. They alleged Kambli’s bodyguards to have manhandled the son and father duo. After receiving a punch, father went to his son and narrated the incident. They tried to resolve the situation but things got even worse as Kambli got into a heated argument and bodyguards manhandled them resulting in minor injuries.
The Kambli’s have filed an FIR whereas the Tiwari’s too have registered a police complaint against the former cricketer and his wife Andrea.
Tiwari said, “Soon after the complaint was registered, we went to the mall and spoke to the management. They supported my statement. The cops have also checked the CCTV footage of the mall.”
