Bigg Boss 12 is one of the most controversial indian television shows. Recently, the Supreme Court made a landmark judgement when it ruled out Section 377 but as it was being said that time, that only a battle is won and the war still remains has been proven true. Many still don’t get the meaning of respecting one’s sexuality the way it is. They think it’s okay to pass a homophobic joke, stereotype gays and get away by laughing it off as a joke.
We are talking about none other than ex-cricketer Sreesanth who had no shame in judging Rohit Suchanti over the way he looks, how he talks and why he’s wearing ‘purple shorts’. Dipika Kakar found it funny as she watched, entertained Sreesanth act pansy by judging Rohit’s sexual orientation.
Shivashish Mishra too was heard telling Karanvir Bohra on how he thinks Rohit ‘swings both ways’ and Surbhi on the other side confessed that Rohit is a ‘beautiful looking guy’ but his mannerism is quite ‘girlish’. Like can you believe it to what extent this house is homophobic?
However, ex-contestant of Bigg Boss, Vikas Gupta is known for being vocal and respecting one’s sexuality. He couldn’t contain his anger when he watched the episode and took to Twitter to express his disgust. He captioned the post saying, “I am extremely upset after what I saw today on #BigBoss12 on @ColorsTV . So I wrote this ‘The Color Purple’ . Hoping it reaches the right people who read and share it ahead . It’s important that we don’t let people think it’s okay to do this #TheColourPurple #BeKind”.
Twitterati was also appaled watching the unacceptable joke on Rohit.
Do you think Salman Khan will bring this up on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode?
