On Thursday, Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh indulged in a war of words on Twitter over the former’s comment on the ongoing farmers’ protest in Delhi. Many celebrities lauded and support Diljit and one of them was none other than the Indian boxer Vijendra Singh.
In her tweet, she called Dosanjh, “Karan Johar ke paltu” “Ooo Karan johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship keliye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin. Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? Stop this right now,” she tweeted, this statement did not go well with the boxer and he replied to the actress’s tweet and slammed her by saying, “Galat panga le liya bhen 👊🏽”

The actress was quick to respond to Vijendra’s tweet and he Tanu Weds Manu actress called him out and dragged Shiv Sena by saying, “Kyun tu bhi Shiv sena banayega ….. bhai?”
And Vijender replied, “Wo to ban rakhi hai or kaam bhi acha hi ker rahi hai.”
The war of words begun when Ranaut in her tweet allegedly said that the 73-year-old woman named Mahinder Kaur is the same “daadi” who took part in the Shaheen Bagh protests and now had joined the farmers’ protest.
After her tweet, a Punjab lawyer has also sent Ranaut a legal notice over her comment in a deleted tweet and demanded an apology in 7 days over the same. He also said that if she fails to do so, a defamation case will be pursued.
