On Vijay’s ‘Master’ release date, makers to release Trailer?

Superstar Vijay‘s much-awaited film ‘Master’ was all set to hit the screens today(April 9). But the release date was postponed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and the 21-day lockdown imposed by the government to curb it. Thalapathy fans soon took to social media and requested the makers to at least release the trailer of the action thriller today.

Reacting to their plea the makers planned a delightful surprise for fans. The ‘Master’ team gave Thalapathy Vijay’s fans surprise in the form of a new poster with a killer caption “Lockdown shouldn’t knock down our spirits. Master will meet you soon.”

Vijay is looking intense in the poster as he is seen sitting and contemplating.

‘Master’ features Thalapathy Vijay as the protagonist while Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist in the movie. While Vijay reportedly plays the role of a college professor called John Durairaj, Vijay Sethupathi dons the character of a deadly gangster named Bhavani. ‘Petta’ actress Malavika Mohannan has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie. It also features Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das and Shantanu Bhagyaraj in pivotal roles.
