Earlier we reported that Vijay Sethupathi was approached to play the antagonist in the much-awaited film yet-untitled film. The makers of the film have finally confirmed Makkal Selvan’s presence in the film as well.
According to reports, Vijay Sethupati will be playing a character which his fans have not yet watched him playing in Thalapathy 64. Taking to Twitter, the makers have finally announced that the shooting of the film has gone on floors. The film will have a bigger name such as Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles.
Produced by XB Film Creators, the shooting of the project began with a formal pooja along with the star cast consisting of big names including Vijay Sethupathi, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Anthony Varghese and Malavika Mohanan in key roles.
If anything to go by rumours, the untitled film is a gangster flick with Vijay taking on Vijay Sethupathi. The cat and mouse game between the two leads will be the highlight of this film.
Vijay is currently gearing up for his next release Bigil by director Atlee. The film, which is gearing up for release this Diwali, sees him playing the role of a football coach of a women’s team. The film, which has been produced by AGS Entertainment, was officially launched last November in Chennai.
As per the report, the music of the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander who is collaborating with Vijay after Kaththi.
The film is likely to hit the theatres in April 2020.
