Vijay Sethupathi Confirms Exit From Allu Arjun’s Pushpa?

Earlier reports suggested that Vijay Sethupathi could be seen as the main antagonist in Allu Arjun’s next film Pushpa. However, new reports suggest that the actor may have poted out of the project. As per The Times Of India, Vijay Sethupathi has confirmed during an interview that he has opted out of Pushpa. While reports suggest that Vijay Sethupathi walked away from the project due to creative differences, the actual reason for the move is unconfirmed. Moreover, the complete list of cast and crew of the film is yet to be announced officially.
Pushpa, directed by Sukumaran, has been under speculation for its cast and crew for a while. Kannada actor Dhananjaya is the latest member to join the cast of the film. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi will next be seen in Thalapathy Vijay’s Master which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor will take on the role of the main antagonist for the film which has wrapped up shooting recently. An official statement about the film’s release from the makers is expected soon. Master was supposed to hit the big screens on April 8, 2020, but it has been postponed due to the lockdown. The actor was last seen in Oh My Kadavule in an extended cameo.
Besides Master, Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Ka Pae Ranasingam, Laabam, the biopic of Muttiah Muralitharan and Tughlaq Durbar. Vignesh Shivan directorial Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal will also feature Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara. He will also be seen playing the main antagonist in Tollywood film Uppena.
