Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil is one of the much-awaited Kollywood movies of 2019, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on this Diwali. Directed by Atlee and produced by Kalapathi S. Aghoram, the film has already created a lot of buzz and people are quite excited to watch it on Diwali 2019. Notably, Award-winning musician A.R Rahman has composed a song for Bigil.
We all know that no two big movies clash with each other due to non-availability of theatres and box office collections but Kollywood is going to witness a huge clash at the box office on this Diwali. Yes, if the report is to be believed, Vijaya Productions are likely to release their action-packed film Sanga Thamizhan on Diwali as the post-production works of the film is in full swing.
Directed by Vijay Chander, who has earlier helmed movies such as Vaalu and Sketch, Sanga Thamizhan features Nivetha Pethuraj and Raashi Khanna as leading actresses while Nassar and Soori will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film.
Talking about Vijay’s character in Sanga Thamizhan, Vijay will essay a dual role for the first time. The music and cinematography of the film are done by Vivek Mervin, Velraj and Praveen KL respectively. There is no official announcement has been made about the clash of these two films.
We will have to wait for official confirmation on whether a Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi clash will happen on Diwali day or the latter will find some other suitable date.
As reported by a source to Pinkvilla, The makers of Vijay starrer have apparently sold the overseas rights of the film for worth Rs 30 crore. While music and satellite rights of all languages have been closed to Rs 3.5 crore and Rs 30 crore respectively.
