Vidya Balan’s father hospitalised after suffering minor heart attack

The Kahaani actress confirmed that her father, P. R. Balan, had been hospitalised in Hinduja hospital after suffering a minor heart attack. As per latest reports, Vidya’s father is recuperating and is out of danger now. He is stable and is already on the path of recovery. However, he is still under observation.

Vidya is currently busy shooting for the biopic of former Tollywood superstar and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The film, which marks her Telugu debut will potray her as NTR’s wife Basavatarakam.

Vidya had revealed that she was “very excited” about the NTR biopic.  India Today quoted her saying, “I have never delivered dialogues in another language apart from Hindi. Earlier, I did special appearances for one-two scenes in Malayalam film but in this film, I have a full-fledged role.”
