Actor Vicky Kaushal, who has been winning accolades for his performance in movies like ‘Love Per Square Foot’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Raazi’ and ‘Lust Stories’, is all set to be back on the big screen with his next – ‘Uri’. The actor, who is playing the role of an Army officer, has revealed that the much-anticipated trailer of the movie will be launched on December 5, 2018.
The actor had even shared a teaser of the film on his Instagram handle. Check it here:
In the video shared, we see Vicky in a uniform making his way through a cloud of smoke and making his way to the surgical attack venue.
Earlier, Vicky Kaushal had announced that the trailer of the film will be launched soon and had shared a picture bearing the caricature of his character in it.
An Aditya Dhar directorial, ‘Uri’ is based on the 2016 Uri attack which took place near the town of Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. It was deemed as the “deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades.” About 19 Indian men were killed by four militants at Uri base camp in Kashmir. To send across a message, the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on the terror hubs across the LOC.
‘Uri’ is scheduled for release on January 11, 2019, and also features Yami Gautam, Kriti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
