Veteran Tamil Actor Srikanth passed away in Chennai on October 12. The cause for his death is reported as old age. The actor marked his debut in the film industry alongside the late J Jayalalithaa in the 1965 classic Vennira Adai. He was known for his ability to deliver versatile roles throughout his career spanning over four decades.
Actor Srikanth has shared screen space with biggies such as Sivaji Ganesan, R Muthuraman, Sivakumar and Kamal Haasan among others. He is known for his films such as Bama Vijayam, Poova Thalaiya and Ethir Neechal.

Rajinikanth tweeted,” The demise of my dear friend Mr. Srikanth makes me very sad. May his soul rest in peace.” The late Srikanth played the role of an anti-hero in Bhairavi, Rajinikanth’s first flick as a hero.
Actor Kamal Haasan also took to social media as he remembered Srikanth as an all-around performer as the protagonist, villain and character.
