Veteran actor Jagdeep Funeral: Jaaved Jaaferi and family leave for last rites
Veteran Bollywood comedian Jagdeep’s burial to take place in Mumbai today; Son Jaaved Jaafery leaves for cemetery
On July 8, veteran actor cum comedian Jagdeep breathed his last at his Mumbai home. The actor is reportedly said to have passed away due to age-related health issues. The actor who was 81 year old is survived by sons Jaaved, Naved, grandson Meezaan, and other family members.
“Jagdeep passed away at 8.30 pm at his residence in Bandra. He was not keeping well due to age-related issues,” producer Mehmood Ali, a close family friend, told PTI.
As per a report in IndiaTV news.com, the senior star will be laid to rest at Shia Kabristan, Mazgaon in Mumbai. The family of the senior star was waiting for his grandson Meezaan, who was at his farmhouse. Today, Son Jaaved Jaaferi was snapped outside his house with family. They left for the burial ground for the final rites of the veteran actor.

Jagdeep Sahab started his career as a child artist and had worked in about 400 films. He is best known for his iconic role of Soorma Bhopali in the blockbuster film Sholay. He was also a part of Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1994 film Andaaz Apna Apna. The veteran actor had played the role of Salman Khan’s father in it.
