Vedhalam Remake: Keerthy Suresh To Play Chiranjeevi’s Sister?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to reprise the role of Thala Ajith in the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Vedhalam’. Rumours abounded that National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in by the makers for a pivotal role. Reportedly the Mahanati actress is all set to essay the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister in Vedhalam remake.

As per Tollywood net reports, Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the role originally played by Lakshmi Menon in Ajith starter.

Tollywood.net further claims that Keerthy Suresh will officially sign the project. Post the signing the makers will announce the film’s other details. Anil Sunkara will be backing the remake project under the banner of AK Entertainments.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi will be seen in a social message oriented movie Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal as a leading lady.

Whereas Keerthy Suresh has signed Sarkaru Vaari Paata which stars Telugu star Mahesh Babu in a lead role. She also featured in thriller Penguin. The film was a mystery drama, wherein she essayed the role of a mother. The stunner will be seen in Miss India. The makers had recently shared the trailer that was much loved by fans.

Keerthy plays the role of Samyuktha who kickstarts her Indian chai business abroad. The movie also features Jagapathi Babu and Nadia Moidu in the leading roles. It will start streaming on OTT platform on November 4, 2020.
