Varun Dhawan to collaborate with Mohit Suri for love story?
Reportedly, Varun Dhawan is currently in talks with 'Ek Villian' director Mohit Suri for a action packed love story.
Varun Dhawan recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming horror-comedy, ‘Bhediya’ which also stars Kriti Sanon. The movie will mark Kriti’s second collaboration with Varun after ‘Dilwale.’ Now, reportedly the ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ actor is in talks with ‘Ek Villian’ director Mohit Suri for an action-packed love story.

According to the report in Pinkvilla, “Varun has been a fan of Mohit’s work and he has liked the basic premise of the film. It’s high on action with an intense love story in the backdrop, a space that Varun has not explored till date. With the pandemic uncertainty, Varun is being cautious with the subjects he is green lighting and has asked Mohit to develop the idea into a full bound script.”
Further, the report states that if things go well, this would be Mohit’s next directorial after ‘Ek Villain Returns.’ “While timelines are not in place, it’s being planned as something that can potentially start next year. Mohit will dive into the writing process once he wraps up Ek Villain Returns,” said the source.
On the work front, Dhawan also has Sajid Nadiadwala’s action thriller, ‘Sanki’ helmed by Kesari director Anurag Singh. Next, the actor will begin work on ‘Ekkis’, a biographical war film directed by Raghavan and produced by Vijan, based on the life of military officer Arun Khetarpa.
