Varun Dhawan Reveals His Relative Has Tested Positive For COVID-19

Varun Dhawan has been spreading the awareness of the Coronavirus since it was declared a pandemic. He even urged people to maintain social distancing and stay indoors. Varun even donated to the PM-Cares relief fund.

Yesterday Varun Dhawan went live on Instagram with actress and his childhood friend Zoa Morani, who recently tested positive for novel Coronavirus. Zoa shared her experience with Varun during the conversation. Varun also revealed that one of his relatives in the US has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Varun said, “It’s very close to home right now. Until it happens to someone you know, you don’t take it seriously and understand the gravity of it.” He once again urged his fans to take all the safety measures and precautions and stay indoors until the situation is steady.

Zoa told Varun about her daily routine at the hospital. She said she is enjoying the food and the tea served to her at the hospital. The actress also said that she has been given a dose of Hydroxychloroquine tablets and vitamins. She is feeling 40 times better now and might be discharged very soon.

Earlier, in an interview with Mid Day, she said, “My daily routine in the hospital begins at 6 am. I wake up, freshen up and do Pranayam. I also do a few exercises suggested by my doctor. The workout is followed by chai, and let me tell you, the hospital chai is really good. Then, I get on the phone with my family and we check on each other’s health.”

We wish for the speedy recovery of Varun’s relative and Zoa.
