Teaser of Mani Ratnam’s Vaanaam Kottattum to be released on Jan 8, 2020

After first look of Vaanam Kottattum in November last year, the makers of Vijay Sethupathi starrer have unveiled the release date of the film. Directed by Dhana Sekaran and Produdced by Mani Ratnam, Vaanam Kottattum stars Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. This is not the first movie to be produced by Mani Ratnam, he had earlier bankrolled multiple movies including multistarrer ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.

The announcement of Vaanam Kottattum teaser comes a few day after Mani Ratnam revealed the title front of his upcoming movie Ponniyin Selvan featuring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwary Rai, Trisha and Aishwarya Lakshmi among others.

Vaanam Kottattum features a real life couple Sarath Kumar and Radhikaa, who had previously worked together in Chennaiyil Oru Naal 20-years back. The real life couple will be playing the role of husband and wife in the film as well.

The film has music by singer Sid Sriram and the makers have also announced that the first single from the film will be launched on Friday by Oscar winner AR Rahman. Earlier, the film was supposed to be directed by Mani Ratnam but he could not do it because of Ponniyin Selvan.
