Cloudburst in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh leaves 3 dead, 8 missing
Heavy rains and cloudburst wrecked havoc in Uttarakhand‘s Pithoragarh. Three people were killed and many injured after the cloudburst. in a village in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.
As reported by ANI, At least nine people are reportedly missing after the cloudburst in the Taga village of Munsiyari and Gela village of Bangapani in Pithoragarh district. So far two bodies have been recovered.

Due to the heavy rainfall in the area, five houses washed in Munsyari after water level reached a dangerous level in Gori river. All the members of the affected family have been shifted to a safer place. They will soon be provided compensation.

The rescue teams reached the two villages and launched a rescue operation. The search for the missing persons is underway.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has instructed District Magistrate, Pithoragarh to provide relief amount to the affected.
