The developers of Unity of Command announced its sequel earlier this year and now it has reached to its final stage of development. According to reports, Unity of Command 2 is scheduled to launch in November.
The game is built on a brand new bespoke 3D engine. It retains Unity of Command’s signature art style and delivers highly polished fluid gameplay. Unity of Command II is one of the most anticipated games of 2019.
The much-awaited game allows its users to take command of Western Allies for the first time in the series. It would be for the first time, games will have an opportunity to face Fog of War.
As per a report in PC Gamers, the private beta will be available starting from October 21 on Windows via Steam. The beta version will include single-player and hot-seat multiplayer modes. Looking for an opportunity to join the strategic action, players can register at bit.ly/UoC2Beta.
Everybody is open to apply and participants and participants will be chosen randomly. The developers of 2X2 said that application questionnaire is in place mainly to weed out trolls. But it was also very clear that the test isn’t just a free-to-play weekend.
“Before applying, please consider whether you have enough free time during the first week of the test. You will be needing several hours to familiarize yourself with the game, playtest, and then provide feedback and comment,” the studio said.
“We need all of this (including feedback) to happen during the first week of the test, otherwise it’s of limited usefulness to the project,” the developers added.
The exact release date of Unity of Command 2 will be announced soon.
