Union Minister Babul Supriyo threatens man to break his leg at event
A singer turned Politician Babul Supriyo Babul has triggered a controversy after threatening a man to break his one leg at an event organised for differently abled people in Bengal’s Asansol on Tuesday.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Babul Supriyo was invited at an event, Samajik Adhikarita Shivir to donate equipment for the differently-abled people like wheelchairs. He reportedly got upset on a man from the public and said, “Why are you moving? Please sit down.”
Later, he lost his cool and moved ahead when he was distracted by his continuous movements. The BJP leader snapped back at the man and said, “What happened to you? Any problem? I can break one of your legs and can give you a crutch.”

This is not the first time when Babul Supriyo made a controversial remark in public. In March, when he was on his visit to Asansol, which is said to be one of the most affected areas by communal violence after Ram Navami celebrations in the state. He had reportedly lashed out at the crowd saying, “he will skin them alive”.
