Alwar lynching case: Supreme Court asks Centre to bring law, twitteratis react
With mob lynchings continue to take place in different parts of the country, the Supreme Court has urged the Parliament to bring in a separate law against lynchings. In the third such incident in just over a year in Alwar district, one man was lynched and another beaten up by villagers on suspicion of cow smuggling on Friday night.
According to various media reports, before taking Akbar Khan to the hospital for medication, the police bathed him, stopped to have tea and got his clothes changed at the police station. By the time he was rushed to the hospital, he was declared brought dead.
The police even arranged a vehicle to ferry seized cows to a shelter before taking the victim to the hospital, barely 4 km away from the spot where the unfortunate incident came to pass, reports NDTV.
Let’s take a look at various Twitter comments on same matter:

If this doesn’t shake us to our core, what will?
If this does not fill you with horror
Make you shake in anger
What will?Is this #NewIndia you want your children to inherit?
Your legacy to them? Are we to become a nation of monsters, sans any shred of humanity?#AlwarLynching https://t.co/VqDgHezy8T

Lynching is an illegal, reprehensible act. The Law and Order MUST take its course, and culprits MUST be made an example of. There is NO place for this kind of mob violence in the country#AlwarLynching #Alwar pic.twitter.com/BxjCLnnVEz

Rajasthan & Haryana – the neighboring states qualify for the worst BJP ruled states. {Even RW will agree in private}. Horrible horrible state of affairs. Zero governance. #AlwarLynching
