Hollywood star Tom Cruise‘ BMW was stolen while shooting for Mission Impossible. Not only his hi-end car but also luggage worth several thousands of pounds. The actor’s BMW X7 was being used to ferry him in and around the UK. It was reported stolen from outside the Grand Hotel at Church Street in Birmingham. The luxury SUV also had goods worth thousands of pounds inside it.
The theft came to light when Cruise’ bodyguard noticed that the vehicle was missing from its parking space on Wednesday. Though the actor recovered his car. The incident left the star-hopping mad.
As reported by sources to the SUN, “The criminals left with the car, using a scanner to clone the signal from the luxury car’s keyless ignition fob. The vehicle was parked outside the hotel at the time of the theft. Though the police recovered the vehicle as it was equipped with an electronic tracking device. However, Tom’s belongings that were inside the car have not been found yet.”
Cruise has been living in the UK over recent months as he’s been filming the new ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie alongside the likes of Hayley Atwell and Vanessa Kirby. Cruise recently landed a helicopter in a private home in the UK. Tom Cruiselanded by helicopter in a Warwickshire family’s garden. The actor made the day for the family as he posed for pictures. He also offered a free helicopter ride for the family.
Mission: Impossible 7 is scheduled for release on May 27, 2022.
