Tollywood actor Varun Tej meets with a car accident; deets inside

Tollywood actor Varun Tej had a narrow escape in a major car accident. Reportedly, the actor was traveling from Hyderabad to Bangalore and then the accident took place in Kottakota, Andhra Pradesh when Varun Tej’s car hit another car from behind on National Highway 44. The cars are damaged but Varun Tej and the others in the car are unhurt. But the four people who were in the other car had minor injuries.

Varun took to his Twitter handle to tell his fans about the car accident and thanked everyone for their concern and love. He wrote, Got into a car accident and thankfully everybody is safe and sound. No injuries whatsoever. Thanks for the concern and your love!??”

A report in TOI states that after the accident, the actor and his friends left in another car, while his driver has been taken under police custody for further investigation.

The actor was last seen in F2: Fun & Frustration for which he received a lot of appreciation for his performance. He is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie Valmiki where he will be seen playing a negative role. Valmiki is the remake of hit Tamil film Jigarthanda.
