Tokyo Paralympics: Shooter Avani Lekhara Wins Gold; Yogesh Kathuniya, Devendra Jhajharia Claim Silver Medals; Sundar Gurjar Gets Bronze
It was a historic day for India at the Tokyo Paralympics as athletes went on to bag medals galore. Shooter Avani Lekhara won India’s first medal in shooting in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 event on Monday. Javelin Throwers Devendra Jhajharia got silver and Sundar Singh Gurjar won bronze in Men’s Javelin Throw F46 final.
