Tiger Shroff: “I didn’t want to just be —  Jackie Shroff ka beta”

With ‘Student Of The Year 2‘ nearing its release date, The entire team is busy with promotions of the film. Tiger Shroff who is a part of Punit Malhotra’s film is also out promoting his film. The actor has done just a handful of films yet has managed to place himself pretty well in the industry.

The actor who is also known as the son of the wonderful Jackie Shroff has something to tell about it. In a conversation with DNA, he says “I am more like momma (Ayesha Shroff). My sister, Krishna is more like my dad. Dad is so bindaas. He doesn’t care about what people think. I am uptight and focused. My father was born a star. On the other hand, I had to work hard to get out of his shadow and make my own identity. I didn’t want to just be —  Jackie Shroff ka beta.”

The actor comes across as a very quiet person. His great love for fitness has got him a lot of fans while his dance moves have always had a ‘wow’ factor about them.

While the actor is very focussed about his goals and ideals in order to make his own identity, he isn’t a competitor. he just wants to be his best version of himself. He says “I am a racehorse. I have huge goals and dreams. I do not have time to spend my energy looking left or right. There is no time for detours because I have to look straight ahead at the finishing line.”

Tiger Shroff is all set to be seen on screen with ‘SOTY 2’ along with Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey in the lead. The film is set to release on 10th of May 2019.
