Tiger Shroff made his acting debut in Bollywood with Heropanti in 2014 and earned Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut nomination. Following Heropanti, Tiger acted in hit movie Baaghi, which took the box office on storm.
However, Tiger’s fortune was broken by the series of flopped movies including Remo D’Souza’s A Flying Jatt and Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael. Revealing his feeling over the failure of flopped movies, Tiger Shroff said that he was “really upset” when his films did not perform well at the ticket window.
Giving an interview to a leading publication, Jacky Shroff’s son said, “The work I had put into my films and craft required a lot of physical and mental labour. It took a toll on the body, so, it was disheartening when the films didn’t work. I felt dejected and thought about it every night before I slept.”
Baaghi 2 actor decided to learn from the failures and push himself to deliver his best. “I turned them into my strengths and if I ever failed to give a certain shot, I’d always think about those times. That sort of drove me beyond my limits,” he said, adding that he was “grateful” to experience both success and failure at the beginning of his career.
“I wouldn’t call the movie’s failures because they have made me stronger and this is one of the reasons why Baaghi 2 was successful,” Tiger added.
On the professional front, Tiger will next be seen on the silver screen in Punit Malhotra’s Student Of The Year 2, which marks the Bollywood debut of Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 10, 2019.
