The first film of the popular franchise called ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ came out in 2012 and was directed by Kabir Khan. The second movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was released in 2017 and was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Now, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are all set to be seen in the third installment of his ‘Tiger’ series. Emraan Hashmi will also be seen in the film is set to play the antagonist.
Now, according to the latest reports, the movie is slated to begin filming on March 8 in Mumbai. Ahead of the shooting, a puja was organized at YRF studios and the lead actors along with director Maneesh Sharma, Emraan Hashmi also attended the puja.
Further, the report said that Salman had come to YRF to shoot for ‘Pathan’ with Shah Rukh Khan and since Salman was coming to the studio, the team decided to plan a puja on the same day and also invited Katrina, Maneesh, and Emraan Hashmi were also invited for the same. On YRF’s 50th year, they are rolling out the biggest films being made in Bollywood or the Indian film industry today. ‘Tiger 3’ is being mounted on a scale that has not been seen before and so is ‘Pathan.’
‘Tiger 3’ will mark Emraan’s maiden collaboration with YRF.
Recently, Salman kicked off ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ promotions with Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda. Katrina too has other films like Sooryavanshi and Phone Bhoot with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. Emraan has ‘Chehre’, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and ‘Mumbai Saga.’
