Newly turned mommy, Anushka Sharma has returned to work after welcoming her first child with cricketer husband Virat Kohli. She was snapped by the paparazzi in Mumbai as she headed to shoot for an endorsement. Amid this, a throwback video of the actress talking about quitting acting after marriage is doing rounds on the internet.
The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress appeared on the popular talk show ‘Rendezvous with Simi Garewal’ and revealed her plans after marriage. In the viral video, she said that she wants to quit work. Simi questions the actress if she wants to get married, to which she says, “Marriage is very important to me. I want to be married, and have kids and when I am married, I probably do not want to be working.”

Anushka tied the knot to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in a secret Hindu marriage ceremony in Italy in 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021.
Recently, the actress returned from Ahmedabad where she and her daughter Vamika had accompanied Virat for the India-England series.
On the work front, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress was last seen in the 2018 film, ‘Zero,’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She is yet to announce her new project, however, she has been producing some of the hit films and web-series.
