The Sky is Pink: First look of Priyanka Chopra starrer out

Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim starrer ‘The Sky is Pink’ is one of the much-awaited films. Here is some good news for the Desi Girl fans, the Shonali Bose directorial is all set to premiere at TIFF. The news was shared by the official handle of the Toronto International Film Festival. They even shared the first look of the movie.

In the picture, we can see the entire cast posing together with their back to the cameras. Priyanka and Farhan are standing on either side with Zaira and Rohit Suresh Saraf in the middle. The movie will be premiering on September 13 at the fest.

An excited Priyanka said, “I’m looking forward to being back at TIFF once again to showcase our a small package of love to the world.” Her earlier production ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’ was also screened at the fest two years ago.

The Sky Is Pink is a biopic based on the life of Aisha Chaudhry who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Zaira Wasim in playing the role of Aisha. Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are playing the role of her parents. Rohit Saraf will be seen as her onscreen brother.

The shooting of the movie had begun on August 8, 2018 in Mumbai and the filming wrapped up on March 11, 2019. It is co-produced by Priyanka Chopra with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It will have a worldwide release on October 11, 2019.
