The King: Eternal Monarch is a Korean drama series streaming on Netflix. It is about two star-crossed lovers from parallel universes: Emperor Lee Gon from a Korea that is run as a constitutional monarchy and Jung Tae Eul from present-day South Korea.
In the previous episode, Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min-Ho) and Detective Jung Tae-Eul (Kim Go Eun) were seen sharing intimate moments. But later Lee is called to perform his duty as a King when a surprise naval attack from Japan takes place. Meanwhile, Tae-Eul makes a major breakthrough in her murder case. King Lee Gon and Detective Jung Tae Eul will finally return in The King: Eternal Monarch Episode 7.

The King: Eternal Monarch episode 7 will release on Friday, May 8, 2020. The drama series has been releasing two new episodes every week which is set every Friday and Saturday. Once the 7th episode releases, get set for the episode 8 on Saturday.

The ruler of the Kingdom of Corean has traveled back to the Republic of Korea to see the detective. Upon learning the possibility that the man who killed his father is still alive, King Lee Gon decides to see Detective Jung Tae Eul and protect her. In the upcoming episode, we will be seeing how the story progresses between the two worlds. Lee Gon and Jung Tae Eul will be having their first romantic date which is expected to take place in the Republic of Korea.
The trailer also shows that Lee Gon’s guard, Young, has also been brought to the Republic of Korea and have a chance to meet his doppelganger from another world. Lee Gon seems to tell Young to kill someone. It could be the traitor who killed his father.
