The makers of The Big Bull have unleashed the much-awaited trailer featuring Abhishek Bachchan in a surprising role of a stock market broker, Hemant Shah (the character which is inspired by the real-life story of Harshad Mehta). During the pandemic lockdown, Pratik Gandhi starrer Scam 1992 was released on the OTT platform and it went on to garner good reviews from the audience. Netizens have reacted to Abhishek Bachchan and Pratik Gandhi’s acting for Harshad Mehta’s role and the plotting.
Pratik Gandhi starrer web series- Scam 1992 took the audience through the real events in Scam 1992. The web series featured the story of Harshad Mehta, who manages to commit the biggest financial fraud for around 10 years after he finds the loopholes in the Indian stock market system. Hailing from a middle-class Gujarati family, he lived in a chawl in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area. The series showcased how Mehta manages to manipulate the stock market trends. On the other side, the newly released trailer of The Big Bull takes us to the story of Hemant Shah- protagonist inspired by Harshad Mehta’s life. Jr. Bachchan is quite intriguing in the role and he is quite impressive with his acting skills. However, the Big Bull trailer fails at creating a huge impact because many people already know the story after the massive success of the Scam 1992. Although the film is yet to be released, Twitterati can’t stop themselves from comparing the web series and the upcoming film.
