Now, they have released the second trailer of the movie that will urge the viewers to not only take a stand against domestic violence but also stop viewing it on social media.
The trailer stops mid-way when Taapsee gets slapped by her inebriated husband at an office party. The actress then turns and directly addresses the viewers by telling them to stop watching acts of domestic violence and make the trailer the most reported trailer on YouTube.

The makers and the actress have sent a strong message with this new trailer. No amount of violence on the Internet should be encouraged. Action should immediately be taken and what better way than to start from home.
Thappad charts the journey of Amrita as she files for a divorce after her husband slaps her. The film also deals with the reaction of different people around her, as they try to justify the act calling it ‘just one slap.’
Thappad is produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar starring Taapsee Pannu and will be released on 28 February 2020.
The movie is being hailed as this year’s PINK. The film has an extremely critical storyline and the director’s vision will bring the best, yet again.
