Did NTR-Ram Charan say No to Test Shoot of SS Rajamouli’s RRR? Deets Here

Noted filmmaker SS Rajamouli has been waiting to resume the shooting process of his much-awaited movie titled RRR. The shoot of films and television series have been put on hold since COVID-19 Lockdown. But now the government authorities have granted permission to resume the shoot. Baahubali director decided to conduct a test shoot on the sets of RRR. But all efforts to resume shoot have failed.

As reported by greatandhra.com, Rajamouli had planned to commence the test shoot this weekend in Hyderabad. But the growing number of coronavirus cases in Hyderabad have made the director rethink. The lead stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR have also vehemently said no to the proposal of Rajamouli to the test shoot.

As reported by sources to GreatAndhra.com,  Ram Charan was the first to call Rajamouli to drop the idea of resuming the shooting altogether as the ‘situation is scary’. Though Ram Charan and NTR were initially shown in favor of resuming the shooting. But they soon realized that conditions are not favourable for the shoot.

RRR, is made on a lavish budget of nearly Rs 450 crore. It is a fictitious tale based on the life of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. It features Jr NTR, Ram Charan in pivotal roles. This is the first time the two superstars are sharing screen space.

Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn are also a part of the period drama.  Allison Doody, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, and Samuthirakani too feature in RRR.
