A myriad of angles for explaining the suicide are being verified with different reasons being sought.
A report by Telangana Today stated that Keerthi had been undergoing treatment for psychological disorders for the last two years. In an evident cause of stress, the problem compounded in the last six months when she got to know about her two-and-a-half-month-old baby girl was unable to speak properly. That’s when she slipped into depression. According to reports, Keerthi was the adopted daughter of veteran film actress Annapurna.

The unfolding of events prior to the discovery of her death occured as follows:
Keerthi had gotten married to Venkatakrishna, a software engineer about three years ago. She had been living separately from her husband, who otherwise resides in Bengaluru. Particular reasons for living separately are not known.
Venkatakrishna was apparently travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad and reached his house at around 2am on Friday, July 27. He slept in the other room while his wife slept in the bedroom. Keerthi was then discovered hanging from the fan by him the next morning.
He immediately called Annapurna to inform her and the yesteryear actress who resides in Godavari block nearby then informed the police about her daughter’s suicide.
Keerthi’s mother, Annapurna, is a Telugu film actress known for her portrayal as mother, mother-in-law and grand mother. She began her Tollywood career as a heroine in 1975 with Mohan Babu in lead role in Swargam Narakam, directed by the late Dasari Narayana Rao.
