Karan Johar’s upcoming production ‘Student Of The Year 2‘ marks the Bollywood debut of Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday opposite Tiger Shroff. The much-awaited film is all set to hit the screens in a week. The actors have been keeping busy promoting the film on major platforms. They are also interacting with the media and opening up about their upcoming release and other things too.
Recently while talking to in.com, Tara Sutaria made a startling revelation about auditioning for the upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin. She had auditioned for the role of Jasmine which eventually went to Naomi Scott.
Tara said, “I was actually supposed to do another film with Will Smith a year before we started Student of the Year 2 in London. I was working on this film Aladdin, which is, in fact, releasing a week after SOTY. So, I was meant to play Jasmine in that film. We would have worked together on that film and it is so ironic that I didn’t end up doing that film but I am doing this and he actually came here and we ended up working on this.”

Will Smith has a cameo in ‘Student Of The Year 2’ and was recently in the country where he canned a dance number with the cast.
Meanwhile, talking about ‘Student of the Year 2’, the film is directed by Punit Malhotra and co-produced by Dharma Productions. It is slated to release on May 10, 2019.
